Seann Walsh, Bethany Black, and host Rick Molland (Bishop Auckland Food Festival special)
In a very special show to coincide with the Bishop Auckland Food Festival, Hilarity Bites are thrilled to welcome Seann Walsh to Bishop Auckland. Described as ‘the best observational comedian of his generation’ (The Guardian), this Edinburgh Award nominee’s last UK tour show After This One, I’m Going Home ended with standing ovations around the country. Seann has starred in Netflix’s Flinch, Live At The Apollo, Tonight at The London Palladium, Celebrity Juice, Play To The Whistle, Virtually Famous, 8 Out of 10 Cats, Chatty Man, Stand Up Central and is a regular guest on The Jonathan Ross Show. Not just one of the countries funniest stand-up comedians, Seann can be seen acting in Jack Dee’s ITV sitcom Bad Move where he plays audience favourite, Grizzo, as well as being a star of Strictly Come Dancing. Joining Seann is Bethany Black, who has performed alongside some of the biggest names in comedy, including Alan Carr, Sarah Millican, Tim Minchin and Rhys Darby. Bethany is also an accomplished actor, having appeared as Helen in Russell T. Davies multi channel shows Cucumber, Banana, and Tofu, and in late 2015, Bethany played 474 in Doctor Who. Host for the evening is the brilliant Rick Molland, who is resident MC at Edinburgh’s award-winning Monkey Barrel Comedy Club.
