Two of the UK’s best known and loved singers – Billy Mitchell (Lindisfarne, Jack the Lad and The Pitmen Poets) and Bob Fox (War Horse Songman, Fox and Luckley and The Pitmen Poets) are taking to the road together once again with From the Horse’s Mouth.
An evening of songs, stories, scurrilous gossip and plenty laughs, with Billy and Bob, from their adventures as members of Lindisfarne, War Horse and The Pitmen Poets.
The duo’s ability to connect with the audience is immediately evident as they lead you through some of their favourite songs including original Lindisfarne classics and trad folk arrangements: Sally Wheatley, Meet Me on the Corner, Dance to Your Daddy, Collier Laddie’s Wife, Big River, Galway Shawl and many more.
Audience feedback
“Tonight was just brilliant. The audience loved you, and your material was great, stories compelling and humour just great….music magic and as wonderful as ever…, I could go on ! Just fabulous.”
“A fantastic pair of musicians and singers. Loved the songs and the stories, enjoyed singing the choruses. Wonderful night.”
‘Thanks to Bob and Billy for a fabulous evening. You never fail to lift us – in a world rapidly losing it’s sense of humour. Your songs are as fresh, and as inspiring as they have ever been. Please come back – again and again!!”
“An excellent evening of songs and stories plus plenty of laughter. Grab a ticket to see this dynamic duo if they’re appearing anywhere near you.”
